Tree hugger

This tree is magnificent. It was planted in the wrong place and has grown far too big for the plot. Lumps have been chopped from the top as the branches overhang the road. Despite the butchery that has taken place it stands tall and proud.
Too big to get the whole thing on one photo.
Look at the size of the trunk, it reminds me of an elephants foot.
If three adults held hands they might be able to do a group hug around it's girth.
There is a preservation  order on it so hopefully it will be a landmark in the village for a long time.

Catch ya tomorrow. Toodle pip.   ilona
