Let's go to Winterton Show

Good morning. I think I chose the right day to go to Winterton Show. It's raining now. 153 years eh! Amazing record for a traditional British Agricultural Show. 

I took a few photo's. Tried to keep it to a minimum. These trikes are fabulous. Boys and their toys. 

I had a chat with that beardy man. He cleans the top part of the trike, and his wife gets down low and cleans the bottom. He has dodgy hips and dodgy knees. He told me these trikes would sell for £15,000 to £20,000 each. 

There has to be trucks in my photo's.

Watching the pony and trap racing around the ring was very exciting. 

There were the usual craft and produce tents. I only took one photo. Children from a local school had painted pictures of cakes which were hung above the table with real cakes. 

Classic cars are always a favourite. I had a chat with a friend who has a 1953 Morris 1000. 

Lots of shiny chrome on this one. I've no idea what it is. I was drawn to the colour of it.  

Engines that look like new. It's a labour of love to keep them that clean. 

Sweet little car. 

I have just checked the reg number of this one. FTL 173. It's a 1951 Austin. Original colour black. Road tax paid until February 2026. 2000 cc petrol engine. It's registered in Lincoln. It's had 5 keepers in total. This vehicle is ULEZ exempt. Free car checks here. 

I've just checked the map. I walked two miles each way there and back from where I parked the car, plus all around the Showground. I chatted to a lot of people. Then I did a dog walk after my dinner. No wonder I was buggered. Age is catching up with me. 

All is well now. A new day a new start after a good nights sleep. 

What made me smile this morning. 😍😎😁 I see that Novax Novak had a good day at Wimbledon yesterday.
