Evening walk at Skipton

The show was a bit too crowded for me, so after I had seen all I wanted to see I escaped back to my car. There was time to go for another walk before bed time. I set off up the steps to the college, then past the swimming pool and through Aireville Park. I spotted a cemetery on the map, so I thought I would go and have a look at that. There was nobody about so I had the place to myself.
Inside this building is the Book of Remembrance. Two books in fact, the first one is full.

This is a nice idea. A branch sculpture with names on the leaves.

It was all very neat and tidy.

On the way back I passed this church. I didn't make a note of the name of it. It appears to be on two levels. The old door looks like it is below ground, the new door on the side is on the higher level. It would be interesting to see the layout inside, but it was closed.

Time was getting on so I went back to my car.
Here is a video I made. I was in bed by 9pm.

Sunday morning and I left the Auction Mart, to find somewhere to park. I fancy a walk in the hills.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow.
Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona
